North Central Senior Citizens Center, March 26-30

Monday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tuesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; bingo at 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m; TOPS at 8 a.m.; cards at 1 p.m.; mall or Walmart shopping from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.; mall or Walmart Shopping 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Thursday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; pinochle at 1 p.m.

Friday — Medical transportation will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. but people must make a request at least 24 hours in advance.

Monday — Chicken-fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, veggies, pumpkin bars

Tuesday — Salad, meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, corn, dinner rolls, wacky cake

Wednesday — Sweet-and-sour pork, rice, egg rolls, pudding

Thursday — Polish sausage, crunchy onion potato bake, sauerkraut, cookies

Friday — Soup, salad bar, chef’s choice, dessert, milk

Don’t fall for health scams: Many claims made by health products are so outrageous they’re funny: “Miracle cure!” “Works like magic!” “Burns away fat without exercise!” But scams like these take advantage of people with chronic health problems. And that’s not funny at all. How can you spot a health scam? “Miracle” claims like the ones above are one sign. You should also be wary of any product that:

• Says it cures a wide range of diseases

• Relies on success stories instead of scientific evidence

• Promises a quick fix

Suspect a scam? Report it to the Federal Trade Commission by calling 877-382-4357.
