Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a report that someone at a Fourth Street residential building was asking suspicious activity on an account Thursday at 1:08 p.m.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle noninjury crash on First Street at 2:36 p.m.

Gladys Jean Flatlip of Box Elder, 47, and Kenneth Lee Looksback of Havre, 48, were each arrested on charges of trespass to property and open container in the city after a Sixth Avenue caller reported Thursday at 3:41 p.m. that a possibly intoxicated man and a woman were loitering in the area.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle crash at Fifth Avenue and Ninth Street Thursday at 5:13 p.m.

Michael Joseph Welch of Havre, 20, was issued a summons on charges of operating a vehicle with fictitious plates and failing to carry proof of insurance during a vehicle stop on Boulevard Avenue Thursday at 10:50 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Diane Carol Nault of Havre, 43, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and driving with a suspended or revoked drivers license and on two Justice or City court warrants after a caller at at U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a shoplifter Thursday at 6:01 p.m.

Travis Vaughn Standing Horn of Box Elder, 40, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant during a vehicle stop on Sixth Street in Box Elder Thursday at 10:17 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical crews responded to two calls Thursday.

Fire crews responded to a 9:57 a.m. fire call to the 2000 Block of First Street Northeast to put out an oven fire. The fire was contained to the oven, which will probably be the only loss from the fire.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held six medium-hair cats whose sex is listed as “unknown,” and one female and two male short-hair cats.

The shelter held this morning a 4-year-old male border collie, a male 4-year-old Australian shepherd-Labrador retriever cross, a 1-year-3-month-old female Australian shepherd, a 1-year-1-month-old male Labrador retriever-pug mix-breed, a 26-week-old male terrier-spaniel cross, an 8-month-old female German shepherd, a 6-year-old female Labrador retriever and a 5-year-old female Australian shepherd.
