Officers arrested George Timothy Healy of Fort Belknap, 56, on a Justice or City court warrant Thursday at 10:16 a.m at the Hill County Detention Center.

Officers investigated after a Third Street West caller requested Thursday at 11:05 a.m. a welfare check on someone.

Officers investigated after a Ninth Street caller requested Thursday at 11:35 a.m. a welfare check on a female.

Officers investigated after a Grant Avenue caller reported Thursday at 1 p.m. that she backed into a van.

Officers investigated after a Fourth Avenue business caller reported Thursday at 3:02 p.m. that they found a cellphone.

Officers arrested Robert James Caplette of Havre, 18, on a Justice or City court warrant Thursday at 3:19 p.m during a motor vehicle stop on Heritage Drive.

Officers arrested Clinton Sidney Boe of Havre, 61, on charges of driving under the influence, seat belt violation, stop sign violation, open container and reckless driving after a First Street establishment caller reported Thursday at 10:49 p.m. that there was a very drunk male in an older car with missing paint.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies served a warrant Thursday at 2:42 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center. No further details were provided.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Thursday.

Fire crews responded Thursday at 12:14 p.m. to the 100 Block of Montana Avenue where a cable wire had been mistaken for a power wire. The cable company was notified and the line was repaired.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held five medium-hair cats whose sex is listed as “unknown” and one female and two male short-hair cats.

The shelter this morning held a 1-year-3-month-old female Australian shepherd, a 1-year-old male Labrador retriever-pug mixed-breed, an 8-month-old pit bull-hound mix, two male mixed breed dogs, one 2 years, the other 9-month-old, a 6-year-old female labrador retriever, and a 2-year-old Jack Russell terrier-Australian Cattle dog-blue heeler mix.
