The customized printing and embroidery shop fivehead's, 615 First St. West now has a coffee shop.
Keith Eldridge said he and his family purchased The Press, an espresso bar and Christian bookstore, in January after reaching a deal with its previous owner Carla Steckel.
The Press had been located in the Holiday Village Mall until it closed in December.
The Press is now in the front of fivehead's. Eldridge said he and his wife, Loretta, decided to purchase the espresso bar as a way to draw customers to the shop and felt the store aligned with their Christian faith.
"It was something that we felt was just right for an addition to our business and what we are doing," he said.
Eldridge said The Press has the same tables and serves most of the same drinks and has some of the same employees as its former location.
"We wanted everything to stay consistent," he said.
Because of a lack of space, Eldridge said, The Press is not able to stock as many bibles and books as at its old location. Most of the books are located on a corner bookcase Eldridge calls the "Hallelujah Corner."
He said The Press will try and keep some off the more popular books in stock and try and order other materials for customers if requested.
The Press will be open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
