Correction - Park board waits to move on with business

Several items were misreported in a story on Page A1 of Tuesday’s edition of the Havre Daily News about the monthly Hill County Park Board.

The Board is waiting on feedback from Deputy Hill County Attorney Karen Alley on proposed changes to the Beaver Creek Park cabin lease agreement.

In Alley’s letter read during Monday’s meeting, her response regarding concerns of prior lease criteria was “I think that you need to honor those approvals.”

A list of recommendations from the Rules and Regulations Committee was sent to the board in regards to the Rotary Falls Trail-head. The Board does not have a recommendation at this time, and did send that discussion back to the committee to meet with all appropriate parties to work on suggested language for updating the lease agreement.

The Finance and Planning Committee did suggest recommendations for fee setting rates, but the board has not taken action.
