Officers investigated after a Washington Avenue caller reported Thursday at 8:27 a.m. that someone took her knives.

Officers investigated after a caller at 9:52 a.m. reported a juvenile girl took off the night before.

Officers investigated after a caller from Fifth Avenue and Seventh Street reported at 11:59 a.m. Thursday that a Toyota Corolla had slid off the street.

Officers investigated after a caller from a local hospital reported at 5:21 p.m. Thursday a dog had bitten a person.

Officers making a motor vehicle stop on First Street West at 8:30 p.m. Thursday arrested Coby John Stump of Box Elder, 32, on a Justice or City court warrant.

Officers making a motor vehicle stop on First Street at 10:41 p.m. Thursday arrested Josh Harvey Herrig of Havre, 22, on charges of failure to carry or produce proof of insurance and violating conditions of release.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy issued a summons after a caller at 6:08 p.m. reported an erratic driver at Pork Chop Hill east of Havre on U.S. Highway 2.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Thursday and one this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held six medium-hair cats, five with sex is listed as “unknown,” one male; one female and two male short-hair cats, and one female long-hair cat.

The shelter this morning held a 1-year-6-month-old female Australian shepherd; a 1-year-old male Labrador retriever-pug mixed-breed; a male 11-month-old German shepherd; a 7-month-old pit bull-hound mix; two male mixed breed dogs, one 2 years, the other 9-month-old; and a 6-year-old female labrador retriever.
