Annual Big Sandy Rotary Banquet set

The Big Sandy Rotary Club has announced that its annual banquet is set and tickets are now available.

The 34th Annual Big Sandy Rotary Banquet is set for for Saturday March 17 at 6 p.m. at Gig Sandy High School.

This year’s theme is “Wild Safari Dreams,” and tickets — which have stayed at $100 per couple for 34 years — includes a prime rib dinner for two.

Ticket holders are eligible for 10 grand prizes with the top prize is $3,000 and numerous door prizes. Activities will be held throughout the evening including raffles, silent auction, multiple 50/50 drawings, Head & Tails and a ticket multiplier so if a ticket is one of the top winners, the holder still could walk away with an extra $100 to $1,000.

“There’s even a loser-out game,” Rotary member Demra Brown said.

People or businesses that would like to support many worthwhile causes can drop off prize donations or cash sponsorships at the Wells Fargo Bank in Big Sandy or mail it to PO BOX 224, Big Sandy, MT 59520.

Three levels of cash sponsorship are available, $300 or more is Gold Sponsorship, $201-$299 is Silver Sponsorship, and Bronze Sponsorship is $100-$200.

“Cash sponsorships will be listed in the program to show your generosity, which is greatly appreciated,” Brown said.

Tickets are available at the bank, The Grocery Store, Ophus Auction Service, and Sheehy’s Law Office in Big Sandy or from any Rotarian.
