Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a report made from a business on Montana Avenue at 11:38 a.m. Tuesday that a gun may have been stolen.

After a Havre resident complained at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday that sidewalks were not being cleared, an officer issued a written or verbal warning.

Officers investigated a report made at 3:18 p.m. Tuesday from a business on First Street West that someone had stolen the caller’s gun.

——

After a caller from 16th Street West reported at 5:11 this morning that someone had stolen her car and another caller at 5:16 this morning reported the location of the car, officers made four arrests. No additional information was in the police dispatch log this morning.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies made no arrests Tuesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Tuesday.

Havre firefighters responded with a fire truck and ambulance Tuesday to a 10:02 a.m. report of a gas odor in a location on the 400 Block of Fifth Avenue. Neither firefighters nor NorthWestern Energy technicians who responded found any gas leak.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held four medium-hair cats, sex listed as “unknown”; one Siamese cat, sex listed as “unknown”; two male short-hair; one female short-hair; one female medium-hair; one female long-hair, and one female calico cat.

The shelter this morning held an 8-week-old female Rottweiler-shepherd mixed-breed puppy, a 1-and-a-half-year-old female Rottweiler-shepherd mixed-breed dog, a 9-month-old male Australian shepherd, a 1-year-old male Labrador retriever-pug mixed-breed dog, a male 11-month-old German shepherd, a 2-year-old female border collie, a 5-year-11-month-old female Labrador retriever and a 7-month-old pit bull-hound mix.
