Officers arrested or issued a summons to someone during a motor vehicle stop near a Third Avenue business Friday at 6:03 a.m.

Officers arrested Gregory Charles Rainingbird of Box Elder, 23, on charges of obstructing a peace officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of dangerous drugs and on a Justice or City court warrant after a 10th Avenue caller reported Friday at 6:57 a.m. that a car was stuck near his home and the people inside it tried to use his shovel to get out before running off. No further information was provided on two other arrests made in the incident.

Officers arrested Jacob James Bauer of Havre, 35, on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation Friday at 8:01 p.m.

Officers issued a summons to Nicholas Theodore Henderson of Havre, 28, on charges of failure to carry or produce proof of insurance and driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license Friday at 9:31 a.m. on Boulevard Avenue.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash Friday at 1:51 p.m. on First Street Northeast.

Officers investigated after a First Street West business caller reported Friday at 3:46 p.m. that a purse had been stolen.

Officers investigated after a caller near Second Avenue and First Street reported Friday at 3:48 p.m. a motor vehicle crash in which one of the involved vehicles took off.

Officers investigated after a Havre High School caller reported Friday at 8:49 p.m. a motor vehicle crash. No further information was available.

Officers arrested Wendy Lynn Casey of Chinook, 51, on charges of driving under the influence and improper left turn Friday at 9:04 p.m. at First Street and Fifth Avenue.

Officers arrested and transported from Box Elder Rikki Lynn Horn of Harlem, 24, on a Justice or City court warrant Saturday at 12:28 a.m.

Officers arrested Tia Lorraine St. Marks of Havre, 30, on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, two counts, and possession of drug paraphernalia Saturday at 1:42 a.m. on Second Street.

Officers investigated after a Second Street caller reported Saturday at 7:58 a.m. that someone had broke into her residence the night before and took some items.

Officers arrested Kelcey Morsette of Box Elder, 28, on a Justice or City court warrant Saturday at 12:39 p.m. at the Havre Police Department.

Officers investigated after a Second Street caller reported Saturday at 10:05 p.m. a complaint. No further information was available.

Officers arrested Jacob James Bauer of Havre, 35, on a criminal contempt charge Saturday at 11:17 p.m. near a First Street West business.

Officers arrested two people after a caller near 12th Avenue and Eighth Street reported Sunday at 3:01 a.m. that a vehicle was stuck. Aaron Michael Bishop of Havre, 28, was arrested on a violations of conditions charge, and Chase Erik Schmautz of Travis Air Force Base in Washington, 21, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers investigated after a Lincoln Avenue caller reported Sunday at 3:29 p.m. that someone had stolen firewood.

Officers investigated after a First Street West business caller reported Sunday at 7 p.m. that a credit card had been stolen.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

The Sheriff’s Office did not provide a dispatch log today due to it being a national holiday.

Havre Fire Department

Medical crews responded to two calls Friday, two calls Saturday and five Sunday.

Fire crews responded Friday at 2:20 p.m. to the 1700 Block of U.S. Highway 2 Northwest. No one at the fire department today was able to provide further information.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held five medium-hair cats, sex listed as “unknown”; one Siamese cat, sex listed as “unknown”; two male short-hair, one female short-hair, one female long-hair and one female calico cat.

The shelter this morning held four 7-week-old female Rottweiler-shepherd mixed-breed puppies, a female Rottweiler-shepherd mixed-breed dog, a 9-month-old male Australian shepherd, a male Labrador retriever-pug mixed-breed dog, a male 10-month-old German shepherd, a female border collie and a female Labrador retriever.
