Montana State University-Northern Rodeo men’s and women’s teams are still offering two chances for livestock owners to win 10 tons of hay to help get their livestock fed through the remainder of this record-breaking winter.
Head coach for the rodeo program Doug Kallenberger said tickets, which sell for $20, are still available until Feb. 21 when the names of the two winners will be drawn.
Steve and Wanda McIntosh are donating the 20 tons of crested wheat hay and added that they will deliver the hay for free within 60 miles of Havre.
All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to Northern’s rodeo program, Kallenberger said, covering everyday expenses for the teams including fairgrounds rent and expenses for the practice livestock, as well as travel during the spring rodeo season.
To purchase a ticket, people can contact Kallenberger at 262-2422 or [email protected], or they can leave a message on the MSU Northern Rodeo Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/MSUNorthernRodeo/.
