Montana Americana Country singer-songwriter Doug Adkins is releasing his ninth studio album, "Dirt Roads and Fence Lines."
The first single, titled "Second Hand Heart," was sent to Montana Radio week of Feb. 1. People can listen to the single and watch the video at http://www.dougadkins.com . The CD is officially on sale April 30, but people can pre-order the CD from dougadkins.com and an autographed copy will come directly to the door one month before the release date.
Some say that 20 years of writing and singing country songs is marked with the release of arguably the best writing of Adkins career.
A release describes that album as"songs full of imagery and storytelling about life growing up in Montana and the Midwest. If you ever wanted to take a peek inside, this collection gives the listener a powerful opportunity to connect with the artist himself."
"'Dirt Roads and Fence Lines' ... will have you wishing you too could buy an old pickup truck and head on down an old dirt road," it adds.
