Mental Health First Aid training set

Adult Mental Health First Aid training is set for Friday at Bullhook Community Health Center. 

The course instructor is Montana State University-Northern Professor Curtis Smeby, Ph.D. 

The training runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and shows people how to help someone having a mental health crisis, perhaps a friend, family member, co-worker or neighbor in need.

The course has no cost to attend. 

People who are interested are asked to register by calling Jeff at 395-6907.

A Youth Mental Health First Aid training is scheduled for the following Friday, Feb. 23, at Bullhook Community Health Center. 

The course instructor is Lindsey Reichelt, LCSW. 

This training also is free of charge and will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Attendees you will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.

The training is open to anyone 18 or older but is recommended for people who regularly have contact with youths such as teachers, coaches, social workers, faith leaders and other caring citizens.
