Havre Police Department

Officers responded to multiple calls or incidents about vehicles stuck or sliding off roadways, including a report at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday of a two-vehicle crash at Third Avenue and First Street in which one driver may have suffered an injured shoulder.

A caller at 12:22 p.m. Tuesday reported losing a black hand clutch wallet.

An animal control officer issued a written or verbal warning after a caller at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday reported aggressive dogs running around near 12th Avenue and Fourth Street.

Officers investigated after a Jefferson Avenue caller reported at 2:43 p.m. Tuesday that someone had tried to break into an apartment.

An officer making a motor vehicle stop at 3:57 p.m. Tuesday on the 1300 Block of First Street arrested Kevin Wayne Coleman of Havre, 32, on charges of failure to carry or produce proof of insurance, second offense; driving with a suspended or revoked license, and criminal trespass to property.

After a caller from a 14th Street location reported at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday being assaulted, officers arrested Cole Forrest Stump of Box Elder, 26, on charges of partner or family member assault and obstructing a peace officer or public servant.

After a caller from a Third Avenue establishment reported at 7:33 p.m. Tuesday that someone was stuck in a stairwell and yelling, officers arrested Kiana Lee Roastingstick of Box Elder, 18, on charges of resisting arrest, making false reports to law enforcement and criminal contempt.

After a caller from a location on Second Street and Fifth Avenue said at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday that intoxicated people needed to be removed from a house, officers issued a summons to James Everett Eagleman of Box Elder, 39, on a charge of criminal mischief or vandalism.

After a caller from a location on the 200 Block of Sixth Avenue reported at 8:57 p.m. Tuesday that people were loitering, officers issued a written or verbal warning.

An officer investigating a report made at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday at a Second Street location suspicious activity arrested Gerald James Lightfoot of Havre, 50, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

After a caller from a 19th Street location at 9:31 p.m. Tuesday requested someone be removed, officers arrested Spencer Owen Lagree of Havre on charges of criminal trespass to property, resisting arrest and violating conditions of release.

After a caller at 11:51 p.m. Tuesday at a Second Street location said people were knocking all around a house, officers made three arrests. No details were available in the dispatch log.

After a caller from a First Street West business reported at 1:42 this morning that someone was drinking in the store, officers issued a written or verbal warning.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies took calls on multiple reports of vehicles sliding off roads and getting stuck, including one report of a one-vehicle rollover reported at 11:03 a.m. Tuesday two miles east of Havre which they referred to Montana Highway Patrol and to the Havre Fire Department for emergency medical response.

After receiving a call from a west Havre business at 6:47 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy issued a summons to Raechel Lynn Scott of Havre, 39, on a charge of shoplifting.

Emergency medical technicians responded to seven calls Tuesday and three this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two male short-hair cats, one female each of short-hair, medium-hair, long-hair and calico cats, and four medium-hair cats listed as sex unknown.

The shelter this morning held a male pitbull-terrier-hound mixed-breed puppy, a male Labrador retriever-pug mixed-breed dog, female Rottweiler-shepherd mixed-breed dog, a male 10-month-old German shepherd, a female border collie, a female Labrador retriever, a male 9-month-old Australian shepherd, and four female Rottweiler-shepherd mixed-breed puppies.
