Musician Dan Henig will be at Montana State University-Northern this week and the university is inviting students, faculty, staff and the general public to the show.
Henig will perform in the Student Union Building Ballroom Thursday at 8 p.m.
He is listed as a poetic singer and songwriter on the Metropolis Management website, which compares his style to performers like John Mayer and Sara Barailles, but with hints suggestive of one of his main influences, Leonard Cohen.
Henig was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but spent part of his childhood in the United Kingdom, where he discovered his passion for music, the website says.
Admission is $5 for people 14 and older and $3 for people younger than 14. Northern students gain free admission with a valid student ID card.
