Local News - Information at meeting on American Association of University Women set at Northern

About 10 years ago the American Association of University Women was active in the area, and now former members and other interested people are looking at bringing back the organization.

AAUW is a national organization. Its mission is the advancement of equity through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.

In order to belong to the AAUW, women must have graduated from a college with a degree or must be currently pursuing a college degree. Men with these qualifications are also welcomed to be part of this organization.

Montana State University-Northern’s Office of Diversity Awareness and Multicultural Programs is sponsoring an informational session, with regional representatives as well as current local members, as guests.
