Havre Middle School lists students of month

Havre Middle School's Sixth-Grade Student of the Month for January is Ciaran Courtnage.

Ciaran is the son of Nathan and Danielle Courtnage. He has one brother, Ainsley Courtnage.

Ciaran participates in football, track and golf at Havre Middle School. Outside of school, he loves playing hockey and baseball. In his free time Ciaran also enjoys being around his family and friends.     

At school, Ciaran shows respect to everyone and has a great sense of humor. His teachers commend him on having a tremendous work ethic and the willingness to go above and beyond expectations. He is accurate in his studies and strives for improvement in all areas. Ciaran possesses strong leadership skills that set high standards for other HMS students to follow. 

In the future Ciaran plans to attend college and excel in hockey to make it in the National Hockey League.

January's Seventh-Grade Student of the Month at HMS is Emme Lines.

Emme's parents are David and Shannon Lines. She has five siblings Ethan, Ammon, Blakelee, Madyson and Kempton Lines.

At Havre Middle School, Emme is an active member of band and choir. She strives to

maintain a high GPA to be on the honor roll each quarter.

In her spare time she enjoys doing art, singing, dancing and acting. She also likes to joke around with family and laugh with friends. 

Emme is a student who is extremely polite and has a very kind soul. HMS teachers praise her on how caring and selfless she is to her fellow classmates. She also demonstrates strong organization skills that make her a very reliable and responsible student. Her compassion and ethics demonstrate what "Pony Pride" is at Havre Middle School.

Emme's future aspirations are to go on a mission for her church and become an author, illustrator, chef or baker.    

HMS' Eighth-Grade Student of the Month for January is Deshaland Robertson. 

Deshaland is the son of Lea Robertson and the grandson of

Ramona Champagne. He has three siblings, Garreth, Jarisa and Deland Robertson III.

Deshaland is a member of the Havre Middle School

basketball team. In addition to his love for basketball, he spends time hanging out with his brothers and friends. Deshaland also likes playing foot-

ball, reading and learning new things.    

Teachers comment on Deshaland's positive attitude and how he exceeds expectations for behavior by following HMS' four Codes of

Character. He is well mannered and courteous to staff and students around him. Deshaland works well with his peers and helps de-escalate situations when others need guidance. These attributes make him stand out as a respectable student at Havre Middle School.

In the future Deshaland's goals are to become an NBA basketball star and a successful businessman.
