Officers investigated after someone reported Thursday at 3:30 p.m. that they never received payment for a ring they sold on eBay.

Officers arrested two people after a First Street business caller reported a combative shoplifter Thursday at 6:01 p.m. Rosella Mae Moore of Harlem, 44, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and criminal trespass to property and on two Justice or City court warrants. George Timothy Healy of Fort Belknap, 56, was arrested on a shoplifting charge.

Officers arrested Frank Merle Skinner III of Harlem, 34, on a disorderly conduct charge after a First Street business caller reported Thursday at 10:55 p.m. that a drunk man came into the store and started causing problems.

Officers arrested Devin Marie Simser of Havre, 24, on a driving under the influence charge Thursday at 11:22 p.m. during a motor vehicle stop on Fourth Avenue.

Officers investigating suspicious activity made an arrest today at 2:09 a.m. near 12th Avenue. No further information was available.

Deputies investigated after a Third Avenue Northwest caller reported Thursday at 12:48 p.m. that she’d like her son removed from the residence.

Havre Fire Department

Medical crews responded to two calls Thursday.

Fire crews responded to the same facility at the 800 Block of Fourth Street at 6:35 p.m. and 9:13 p.m. where a faulty alarm had been falsely triggered both times. No further action was needed by firefighters.

The animal shelter held this morning three medium-haired and three short-haired cats

The animal shelter held this morning a female Labrador retriever, a male Australian shepherd-border collie, a female pit bull terrier-spaniel mix, and three mixed-breed puppies — two males and one female.

Births

A boy was born Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, to Talayna Oats and Coleman Stiffarm of Fort Belknap.
