Boyce & Berry moves from home-based to storefront

Kimmi Boyce this December went from having an online floral design business out of her home to purchasing a store front.

Boyce & Berry Flowers moved into the former Yummy Yogurt building at 1134 5th Ave. in December.

"I like giving gifts, so I wanted to add a gift shop because there aren't too many options in Havre," she said.

Boyce said she also does floral designs and special orders and deliveries.. Before opening at her current location. Boyce & Berry relied on Facebook and word of mouth for its business, and Boyce said she wanted to interact with customers in person.

"I'm a people person, and I just wanted to be where the people are," she said.

Items Boyce sells include flowers, loose leaf teas, gourmet chocolates, all-natural body products, candles, baby items, decorative signage and jewelry.

She said that she gets her items from people and small businesses through e-commerce sites such as etsy.com.

For now, Boyce said, she does not have any employees.

Boyce & Berry's hours are Mondays 1 to 4 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10 a.m to 4 p.m. and Wednesday noon to 4 p.m.
