The North Star High School speech and drama team earned some divisional champion medals en route to a second-place team finish at the BC North Divisional Tournament in Choteau Saturday.
Jewel Wicks and Hayden Massar each took first place, Wicks in spontaneous interpretation of literature and Massar in humorous oral interpretation of literature.
Aubrey Welch placed second in spontaneous interp while Ashley Otto took sixth in informative speaking.
Garret Pederson took seventh in humorous interp.
The top six in each event from North Division qualified to compete at the state tournament, set for this weekend in Huntley Project.
