Letter to the Editor - Thanks to all for Chamber luncheon

Isn’t it funny how the “best laid plans” fail to materialize sometimes?

It was disappointing to miss the annual Chamber luncheon meeting. There were many, many people that I wanted to thank at that meeting and now that list is even longer.

Thanks to my daughter, Marisa Robertson for stepping up immediately to do everything she could that morning in preparation for the luncheon and for giving part of my presentation. Thanks to China Bohn and Julea Robbins for jumping in also. Of course, the original thank-you list included the Board of Directors and especially the Executive Board and Shari Robinson for the last six months of helping me through the job transition.

Thanks to the 33 new Chamber members of 2017 and to NorthWestern Energy for sponsoring the luncheon again this year. What a fine group of young community members. This just proves how solid my family, friends, community and Chamber members are in a dilemma.

All I can do now is look forward to next year and try to make the meeting as interesting and fun as possible. Thanks for your understanding.
