Havre students invited to compete for A-1 Auto Transport scholarships

Students in the Havre area are welcome to apply for the scholarship opportunity that is being offered through A-1 Auto Transport, a California-based car shipper that works in cities throughout Montana.

This opportunity has been happening since 2016 and continues to be a way for students to gain a bit of extra cash to cover school expenses. The winner’s award is deposited right into their school’s financial account. Students have a chance to get $250, $500 or $1,000 to put toward schooling.

What You Need to Do

Students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and are currently enrolled either full or part time with either an accredited or a nonaccredited program, school, institution or university need to apply by sending their contact information, full name and school’s information to [email protected] along with a 1,000-word essay by March 10.

The essay needs to be on a vehicle shipping topic of the student’s choice. The essays must be original work from the applicant, and if found elsewhere during a plagiarism check will be disqualified for entry.

Student’s agree that their essays can be published on the website and then shared through social media for votes. Students are encouraged to share their own to get more votes. The Scholarship Committee then uses these votes to help make their decision on the winners.

All winners will be announced the end of March on the website and will be notified by email.
