Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a reported noninjury motor vehicle crash near Second Street and Ninth Avenue after being notified by a nearby caller Tuesday at 7:52 a.m.

Officers issued a summons to William Lorett of Havre, 34, on a failure to give notice of an accident charge after a Montana State University-Northern caller reported Tuesday at 11:23 a.m. that a Caravan hit a parked car and took off.

Animal control investigated after a Northern Montana Hospital caller reported Tuesday at 11:55 a.m. that someone had been bitten by a cat.

Officers investigated a complaint related to a violations of conditions release Tuesday at 3:59 p.m. at the police station.

Officers assisted a citizen Tuesday at 4:46 p.m. at Havre High School.

Officers arrested Carol Ivy Meyers of Havre, 56, on two state District Court warrants Tuesday at 11:24 p.m. on Second Street.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies arrested Joseph Tyler Henderson of Havre, 24, on a Justice or City court warrant Tuesday at 10:29 a.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Deputies investigated after a Gildford caller reported Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. that a GPS system was stolen.

Havre Fire Department

Medical crews responded to five calls Tuesday.

Fire crews responded to the 30 Block of 13th Street where a steamline was ruptured as a result of construction. The problem was contained and work continued.

Fire crews responded Tuesday at 2:05 p.m. to the 500 Block of Second Street where a power line collapsed in the alley. NorthWestern Energy repaired the line.

Fire crews respoded to the 1900 Block of U.S. Highway 2 North where a gas leak was reported. The leak was confirmed and repaired.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning six medium-haired cats, three short-haired and one long-haired.

The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull terrier, a female Labrador retriever, a male pit bull-Labrador retriever, a male American bulldog-pit bull terrier, a female pug and a female pit bull terrier-spaniel mix.

A girl was born Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, to Katy Wilson and Tyson Anderson of Havre.
