Carol Ann Leeds Harvey passed away at Kaiser Sunnyside Hospital in Clackamas, OR, the morning of Dec. 31, 2017, from complications of pneumonia.
She suffered from multiplesclerosis for many years and was cared for at home by her wonderful caregivers, Mike, Vince and Dorie.
She was a 1971 graduate of Chinook High School, attended the University of Montana-Billings and graduated from Columbus Hospital's X-ray program in Great Fall, MT, in the mid 1970s.She moved to Portland, OR, and worked at Providence Hospital until she took a position at Kaiser Permanente, retiring as a mammogram specialist after 25 years of service.
Carol and her husband, Steve, were devoted to each other and spent many happy years camping and fishing in central Oregon and on the Oregon Coast with their good friends Becky and Joe Cortez. She loved to sew, crochet and do crewel work. For many years, she was a Girl Scout leader.
Her husband, Steven Harvey; parents, Lucia and Robert Leeds, and sister and brother-in-law, Linda and John Vande Van, preceeded her in death.
She leaves a sister, Joan (Tom) Burns and brothers, Robert (Joan) Leeds and Patrick (Mary) Leeds; nieces, Karen, Monica and Jill; nephews, Todd, Adam, Bradley and Ryan; and 11 grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was beloved by all who knew her. Her many friends often referred to her as a very special lady.
There will be no service at her request. Please leave any memorials to the charity of your choice.
