North Central Senior Citizens Center, Jan. 8-12

Monday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tuesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; bingo at 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m; TOPS at 8 a.m.; cards at 1 p.m.; mall or Walmart shopping from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Thursday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; pinochle at 1 p.m.

Friday — Medical transportation will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. but people must make a request at least 24 hours in advance.

Monday — Beef tips with onions, rice, cauliflower, coffee cake

Tuesday — Salad, meatloaf, au gratin potato, carrots, rolls chocolate cake

Wednesday — Salad, lasagna, bread sticks, fruit

Thursday — Chicken broccoli, casserole, garlic cheddar, biscuits, salad, cookies

Friday — Soup, salad bar, chef’s choice, dessert, milk

The United Way of Hill County 2017 Campaign is here and the Meals on Wheels and Senior Volunteer Program will be a United Way Funded Partner again. We would appreciate your continued support for the 2018 year. Allocations will be determined later. As a funded partner we need your support in advocating for the United Way. Remember change begins with us. For further information on donating contact the Senior Center or a United Way representative of your choice. Use the United Way Donations forms to give to your favorite partner. You can pick up a donating pledge form at the Senior Center.

Senior Center Gift Shop — Come see what we have. We have a variety of cards and homemade gifts. We also have many beautiful pieces of glassware. Our regular hours are 9 a.m. to closing. Proceeds from the sales, at this time, will be going towards the purchase of a new Steam Table for our center.

Seniors! We, here at the Senior Center, are still working toward the purchase of our new “Steam Table.” Anyone donating to our cause, of course, will be able to use our Tax ID for a write off. We thank everyone for their help and we appreciate each and every one of you very much and are wishing you all a very happy New Year.
