Dylan Miller, North Star Basketball

For the second week in a row, a District 9C boy’s basketball player went on a scoring binge. This last weekend, it was North Star’s Dylan Miller. Against Turner Friday, Miller poured in 31 points and added another 28 Saturday as the Knights took down five-time defending 9C champion Box Elder. Miller is a three-year starter for the Knights and also plays with his brothers on the team. Miller was also a standout on the football field this past season.

Amelia Miller, Havre High Swimming

Havre High senior Amelia Miller couldn’t have gotten her 2017-18 swimming season started any better. In fact, she’s yet to lose a race she entered. At the Havre Invitational, Miller won the 200 Individual Medley and the 100-meter freestyle, winning both in dominant fashion. Then last Friday in Great Falls, she won the 200 freestyle and the lengthy 500 free, while also anchoring Havre’s winning 200 Medley Relay Team. Miller is one of the top senior swimmers in Montana.
