Havre Police Department

Officers investigated after a Havre-Hill County Library caller reported Wednesday at 8:33 a.m. that her laptop was stolen from her desk.

Officers investigated after a First Street and Third Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 4:08 p.m. that a fender bender had happened.

Officers issued a summons to William Joseph Williams Jr. of Havre, 32, on criminal trespass to property, two counts, and disorderly conduct charges after a Ninth Avenue Northwest caller made two reports, the first Wednesday at 7:40 p.m., saying a man was trespassing and banging on her walls, and the second call at 9:52 p.m., saying the man was back.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies arrested a 17-year-old Wednesday at 7:57 a.m. near a U.S. Highway 2 West business on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license.

Deputies served a warrant to and arrested Crystal Dawn Moreno of Box Elder, 37, on a state District Court warrant Wednesday at 4:29 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical crews responded to two calls Wednesday and one today.

Fire crews responded to the 800 Block of Fourth Street Wednesday at 11:36 a.m. where shower steam activated a smoke detector. No further action was necessary.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning four medium-haired, one long-haired and two short-haired cats.

The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull terrier, two male shepherds, a male Labrador retriever and a male boxer.
