The following cases were resolved in Hill County Justice Court by Judge Audrey Barger in May.

Randi Lynn Parker, born in 1983, was given a deferred imposition of sentence, fined $100, ordered to pay $221.34 restitution and sentenced to three days in jail, all days credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, first offense.

Violet Lodgepole Parisian, born in 1981, was given a deferred imposition of sentence for each of two charges: criminal possession of marijuana, first offense, and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, and forfeited $1,000 bond on the case.

Kayla Mae Seilinger, born in 1988, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $500 for stowing away on railroad property.

Maria G. Snell, born in 1983, was fined $350 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for operating a vehicle without liability insurance, first offense, and was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked.

Sequoia Demontiney, born in 1998, was fined $300 for driving without a valid driver’s license, has never possessed one.

Jennifer Rose Killsnight, born in 1979, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 159 days suspended and 21 days credited, for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Eric Martin Schildt, born in 1991, was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Jacqueline B. Gopher, born in 1972, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license, has never possessed one.

Shanelle Marie Morsette, born in 1993, was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Justin Ray Melby, born in 1979, was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Donald Keith Cochran, born in 1965, was fined $600 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended and two credited, for DUI, first offense, and was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Kenan Velasquez, born in 1996, was fined $100, ordered to pay $16.39 restitution and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 165 days suspended and 15 credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, first offense.

Catherine Autumn Star St. Marks, born in 1979, was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of insurance, first offense, and was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license, has never possessed one.

Eric William Brewer, born in 1993, was fined $100 for each of two counts of criminal trespass to vehicles.

Ina Arlene Fox, born in 1977, was fined $600 for operating a vehicle with .08 percent blood alcohol concentration or greater, first offense, amended from DUI, first offense.

Richard F. Lindeman, born in 1971, was fined $2,500 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 335 days suspended and one credited, for operating a vehicle with .08 percent BAC or greater, third offense, amended from DUI, third offense.

Nicholas Edward Bear, born in 1995, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tyler Joseph Harrison, born in 1995, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $500 for negligent endangerment.

Christopher John Brandt, born in 1988, was fined $100 for careless driving.

John Glenn Stratton, born in 1982, was fined $150 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 353 days suspended and 12 credited, for partner or family member assault, causing injury, fist offense, and was fined $100 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for disorderly conduct.

Zachary Lee Lighthizer, born in 1994, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for fishing without a license.

George Norman Belcourt, born in 1946, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Jesse Udale Denny, born in 1988, was fined $350 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, second offense.

Casey Boyd Bigknife, born in 1973, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended and four credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked and fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

David Ephriam Brower, born in 1978, forfeited $100 bond for failing to follow conditions and requirements of special permit.

Lance Dean Henderson, born in 1991, forfeited $100 bond for failing to follow conditions and requirements of special permit.

Troy Richard Hansen, born in 1974, forfeited $150 bond for permitting animals to run at large in herd district.

Judge Barger also dealt with 65 tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, and she or the prosecution dismissed 42 charges. Barger transferred 31 citations to another court, issued nine search warrants and held 18 probable cause hearings for cases out of her jurisdiction. Additionally, 10 suspended sentences or deferred impositions of sentencing were revoked and reinstated and two charges were voided by the ticketing agency.
