Multi-vendor Gifting Wonderland set to benefit local programs

A multi-vendor “Gifting Wonderland” is set to run the next three weekends in the District 4 Human Resources Development Council Fireside Room at 2229 Fifth Ave. for the next three weekends, with the opportunity to donate to HRDC programs and a community cause at the same time.

“Come shop for your family, friends and loved ones in the Gifting Wonderland while giving back to local programs,” a release about the events said.

More than 15 vendors will be at the events each weekend, held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 25, a $1 off coupon will be offered for the first 30 nonperishable food items brought to be donated to the Havre Food Bank, limit $5 in coupons per person. A drawing will be held for subsequent donations for a coupon for the following weekend.

Saturday, Dec. 2, the first 30 donations for the Domestic Violence Program — hygiene items, socks, small games such as dice and cards and so on — will receive the $1 coupons, limit five per person with a drawing held on subsequent donations.

Saturday, Dec. 9, the first 30 donations for the Havre Jaycees Community Toy Chest and Koats for Kids will receive a $1 coupon, limit five per person with a drawing held on subsequent donations. New or used toys and coats will be accepted as donations.

The event still has openings for vendors, artistans, crafters and small businesses.
