Havre Middle School's Sixth-Grade Student of the Month for October is Alyssa Williams.
Alyssa is the daughter of Brian and Linda Williams. She has four brothers, Brandon, Trevor, Joshua and Michael Williams.
Alyssa participates in choir and cross country at Havre Middle School. She loves playing soccer and cooking. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, babysitting and being around her bunny.
At school, Alyssa has a positive attitude and is very pleasant to be around. Her teachers commend her on how determined she is by giving 100 percent on whatever the task may be. Alyssa is helpful to her classmates and is a great role model for all students at HMS.
In the future Alyssa plans to work at a hospital where she can help other people.
October's Seventh-Grade Student of the Month is Willow Riggin.
Willow's parents are Hillary and Aaron Riggin. She has one sister, Signe Riggin.
Willow participates in volleyball at HMS and is on the swim team. In her spare time she enjoys participating in sports, listening to music and crafting. She also likes to hang out with friends, playing the piano and camping.
At the middle school, Willow is a very kind-hearted young lady. HMS teachers' remark on how conscientious she is with her work and takes time to make sure it is done well. Willow always has a smile and is nice to everyone. Her demeanor represents every aspect of HMS's "Code of Character."
Willow strives to earn good grades throughout her education to someday become an astrophysicist.
Caden Jenkins is HMS' Eighth-Grade Student of the Month for October.
Caden is the son of Brian and Melanie Jenkins. He has one brother, Jevin Jenkins.
Caden participates in Havre Middle School basketball, football and track. He also enjoys hunting and fishing. In his free time Caden enjoys spending time with friends and watching sports on television.
At HMS, Caden's teachers comment on how he completes assignments with exemplary standards. Caden has positive leadership skills which promotes the learning of others. He has a very diligent work ethic and adds to discussions that creates a positive learning environment for other students. These qualities will give him the ability to be very successful in high school and beyond.
Caden's future goals are to attend college and graduate with a degree in photography and computers. He aspires to become a photographer for National Geographic or a sports photographer.
