Officers investigated a Wednesday 10:13 a.m. request at the police station to speak to an officer about what was listed as a sex offense in the dispatch log.

Officers investigated a Wednesday 2:20 p.m. request from a medical patient to speak to an officer about information on a crime.

Officers investigated a theft reported Wednesday at 5:01 p.m. from a First Street business.

Matthew Michael Converse of Havre, 40, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and resisting arrest after a First Street business reported a shoplifter at 5:07 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers investigated a 5:16 p.m. Wednesday report from First Avenue of an account that had been hacked and was being used.

Officers investigate a 6:54 p.m. Wednesday report from First Street Northeast that a group of people had assaulted the caller’s stepdaughter.

John Joseph Bear Jr. of Havre, 29, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant on Second Street Wednesday at 7:40 p.m.

An officer initiated a walk through of a Third Avenue establishment at 12:08 this morning.

Rachel Diane Hawley of Havre, 35, was arrested on charges of probation violation and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, after an officer initiated a walk through at a First Street West establishment at 1:48 this morning.

Officers investigated a report from a First Street business at 5:17 a.m. today that a woman stole a bottle of wine.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Christopher Michael Voss of Havre, 31, was issued a summons on a charge of criminal mischief, vandalism, at Hill County Detention Center Wednesday at 11:13 a.m.

Deputies investigated a Wednesday 11:26 a.m. report from U.S. Highway 87 that the caller’s daughter had stolen a vehicle Tuesday.

Christopher Paul Hammond of Hingham, 19, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license after a caller reported suspicious activity behind a business just east of Havre.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Wednesday and two calls this morning.

Fire crews responded to a 12:18 p.m. Wednesday report from the 1600 Block of Maple Drive that a power line looked like it might be down. Investigation showed that the line was not down and no further action was needed.
