Officers made an arrest after a Fifth Avenue caller reported Monday at 6:13 a.m. a disturbance. No additional information was provided.

Officers investigated after a caller near Sixth Avenue and Eighth Street reported Monday at 9:37 a.m. that a street sweeper hit a parked car.

Officers investigated a missing person report made at the police station Monday at 12:22 p.m.

Jeffrey Blaine Dolphay of Havre, 37, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and on a state District Court warrant.

Robert Henry Stump III of Hays, 31, was arrested on charges of shoplifting, violations of conditions release and criminal contempt after a First Street business caller reported Monday at 6:56 p.m. a non-combative shoplifter.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies assisted Justice Court Monday at 4:03 p.m. An arrest was made, but no further information was provided.

Deputies assisted another agency on Sixth Street West Monday at 7:23 p.m.

Deputies investigated today at 12:31 a.m. after an upset woman on Clear Creek Road Southeast called 911.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical crews responded to two calls Monday.

Fire crews responded to a call Monday at 12:06 p.m to the 100 Block of 12th Avenue where grass caught on fire. The fire was put out with minimal damage. The cause is undetermined.

Fire crews responded to a call Monday at 9:57 p.m. to the 1100 Block of Fifth Street where a kitchen stove was leaking gas. NorthWestern Energy made the necessary repairs.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning three medium-haired and one short-haired cats.

The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull terrier, a male shepherd-Rottweiler mix, two male shepherds and a Chihuahua.
