The Havre Public Schools Education Foundation has announced the winner of the Blue Pony Bingo fundraiser the foundation held.
Jody Toner won $1,000 by successfully picking the spot marked by the pony - square 26.
In the fundraiser, people could purchase as many bingo squares as they wanted chances to win. A pony would walk around a measured, roped off area until he "marked the spot." Each square was designated on the bingo grid and the person who purchased the square that the pony marked would be named the winner.
A portion of the funds raised will be donated to the Beaver Creek Park East Fork Fire restoration. The remaining portion will stay with the foundation to fund Small Grants and Special Projects.
Paisley, the pony that marked the spot, is a beautiful, very friendly gypsy breed, owned and trained by Angie Moffitt. The Directors of the Foundation said they would like to thank everyone for their support of the educational needs of students.
"Thank you Angie for providing Paisley to participate in our bingo game," they added.
