Officers investigated after a Third Street caller reported Thursday at 10:28 a.m. that someone had spray-painted red paint on the back of a building.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash after a caller on Third Street reported Thursday at 12:06 p.m. that a Chevrolet Suburban and a Pontiac Grand Prix collided.

Robert Adam Hutson of Havre, 22, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a report was made by a Fifth Avenue caller Thursday at 1:59 p.m.

Officers investigated after a Third Street business caller reported Saturday at 12:53 p.m. that more graffiti has been painted again.

Kirsten Lynn Keller of Havre, 24, was arrested on an assault charge after a First Street establishment caller reported Sunday at 12:58 a.m. that a female was assaulted.

Dustin Paul Kessel of Havre, 41, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a Second Street West caller reported Sunday at 2:53 a.m. that a man was trying to get into the house through the back door.

Chan Bigknife of Box Elder, 45, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a disorderly conduct charge after a Second Street business caller reported Sunday at 1:14 p.m. that a drunk man was passed out in the store.

Officers investigated after a Heritage Drive caller requested Sunday at 2:38 p.m. a welfare check.

Officers investigated after a Jefferson Avenue caller reported Sunday at 7:23 p.m. that his vehicle was damaged.

Adrian Louis Corcoran of Havre, 26, was arrested Sunday at 8:01 p.m. on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated after a 13th Avenue North caller reported Friday at 9:32 a.m. that someone stole a bow out of his pickup truck the night before while it was parked at his home.

Deputies assisted a citizen Friday at 11:49 a.m. to secure a firearm before crossing the border.

Charlotte Ann Wolfchild of Box Elder, 58, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia after a U.S. Highway 2 West business caller reported Friday at 4:13 p.m. a theft.

Steven Lee Strike of Havre, 29, was arrested on an assault charge Sunday at 3:55 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical crews responded to two calls Friday, six calls Saturday, five calls Sunday and two today.

Fire crews responded Friday at 2:07 p.m. at the 200 Block of Main Street where one of the entry doors to an Amtrak car was stuck open. The problem was repaired while firefighters were enroute and no further action was necessary.

Fire crews responded to a call Sunday at 4:45 a.m. at the 1200 Block of First Avenue where the alarm had been set off by burned food. No damage was done, the alarm was reset and no further action was necessary.

Fire crews responded to the 2000 Block of 34th Street Southeast Sunday at 3:16 p.m. where someone hit a gas line with a garden hoe. The line was shut off and repaired by NorthWestern Energy.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning two medium-haired and one short-haired cats.

The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull terrier, a male shepherd-Rottweiler mix, two male shepherds, a male Labrador retriever-shepherd mix, a female Chihuahua, a male Labrador-pit bull mix and a Jack Russell terrier-dalmation mix dogs.
