The play by Robert Harling shows the bond between members of a group of women in the South dealing with friendship, life, marriage and death, and was made into a popular movie in 1989. The show opens in The Little Theatre Friday and runs Saturday and Oct. 12-14 and 19-21. Doors and the backstage lounge open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. each night. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, seniors and members of the military and are available at fivehead's, Bear Paw Meats and Computer Center or online at http://www.mtactors.com. Students with a valid MSU-Northern student ID gain free admission.
