Obituary - Michael "Mike" Leon Combs

Michael "Mike" Leon Combs of Havre, Montana, 63, passed away Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at his residence due to natural causes.

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

He was born Sept. 5, 1954.

Mike graduated from Poplar High School. He was part of the undefeated Poplar Football team that won the Divisional Championship in 1971-1972. Mike enlisted in the U.S. Marines and served from 1972 to 1976.

He was an amazing fisherman (yes, the fish are celebrating that they may have a chance now), Football Fanatic and avid dart player.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lois and Bill Combs.

Mike is survived by his wife, Terry (separated); daughter, Shannon Combs Chambers; son, Matthew Aaron Combs; and granddaughter, Leah Ashlee Chambers. He is also survived by his brothers and sister, Dean Combs, Bill (Debbie) Combs, Diane (Charlie) Marottek, David Combs and John (Cheryle) Combs; and numerous aunts, ancles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family and many friends.

Mike will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery with full military benefits in the upcoming months.
