Rain and cooler weather invaded the area just as Festival Days got underway, but it didn't seem to dampen the spirits of people attending the events of the 38th annual celebration.
People still lined the streets for Saturday's parade, beat sunrise to the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, and spent 48 cool hours, with 24 in the rain, during the 48-Hour Softball Tournament.
Some events adjusted to the weather, including the Second Annual Rock Lotto event moving indoors to the Havre Central Gymnasium of St. Jude Thaddeus School. Others went on as normal, such as the parade and drivers in the annual E-1 Towing Demolition Derby racing through the mud at the Great Northern Fairgrounds arena.
