Correction - East Fork Fire

An article in Thursday’s edition of the Havre Daily News about the East Fork Fire said it started 12 miles south of Havre. While the incident information page listed the fire as 12 miles south of Havre, it started farther south on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation.

Also in the article, it reported that Rich Gorecki said that while pasture land burned, no livestock were injured or buildings burned. His wife, Michelle Gorecki, said Thursday that their ranch lost no pasture land.

The article also misreported Blaine County Undersheriff Frank Billmayer’s title.
