Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Teagan Fee, Havre High Golf

Havre junior Teagan Fee has already had a strong golfing career, having earned Class A All-State honors last fall. But in her third season at HHS, Fee is off to an even better start. At last Friday’s Browning Invitational, Fee finished first with a stellar score of 83 at the East Glacier Golf Course. It was Fee’s third straight Top 10 5 finish this season, as she also placed fifth at the Havre Invite and fourth at the Belgrade Invite earlier this month. Fee is a three-year varsity player, and she also competes in tennis in the spring.

Kade Strutz, Big Sandy Football

The Big Sandy Pioneers are eager to make a run at the Class C Six-Man playoffs this season. And Friday night, Kade Strutz helped the Pioneers take the first step towards doing just that. In a 28-26 win over Noxon, Strutz rushed for over 100 yards and scored three touchdowns, including the game-clinching score late in the fourth quarter. Strutz, a returning standout for the Pioneers, who also plays basketball, scored on runs of 8, 11 and five yards, the last of which capped a 14-point comeback for the Pioneers.
