The Hill County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for whomever destroyed thousands of dollars of property with a tractor-loader earlier in the month four miles north of Inverness.
The Sheriff’s Office received a call Aug. 9 from a woman who reported vandalism.
Someone had used the front loader of a tractor to smash onto the hood and windshield of a pickup truck and tip over a wooden wagon, and they rammed it into a farm building.
Undersheriff Stan Martin said his office is still assessing the amount of damage in dollars caused as well as who did it. They have no suspects at this time, Martin said Thursday.
People with any information can call the Hill County Sheriff’s Office at 265-2512.
