The following cases were resolved in Hill County Justice Court by Judge Audrey Barger in February.

Sam Christopher Stump, born in 1972, was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, and forfeited $285 bond for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Kale Alan Barick, born in 1984, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 174 days suspended and two credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked.

Amber Rae Nepoose, born in 1990, was fined $350 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, second offense.

Rick Valdez, born in 1976, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 150 days suspended and two credited, for assault.

Louisa Gloria Stump, born in 1983, was fined $600 and sentenced in 180 days in jail, 179 days suspended and one credited, for operating a vehicle with .08 percent Blood alcohol concentration or greater, first offense, amended from driving under the influence or alcohol, first offense.

Darren Michael Huestis, born in 1979, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $150 for failing to allow inspection of records, equipment or facility, special fuel distributor, first violation.

Tyleen Rae Marchion, born in 1978, was fined $600 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 179 days suspended and one credited, for negligent endangerment, amended from DUI, first offense.

Jason Stewart, born in 1977, was fined $350 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, second offense.

Nicolette Lailoni Watson, born in 1980, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. In a later case, Watson was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 166 days suspended, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked.

Knerr, born in 1982, was fined $350 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for operating a vehicle without liability insurance, second offense, and was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and three credited, for driving without a valid driver’s license, second offense.

Kimberly Kay Pewitt, born in 1972, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked and was fined $1,200 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 355 days suspended, for DUI, second offense.

June Marie Sutherland, born in 1978, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 142 days suspended and 38 credited, for false reports to law enforcement.

Zachary Michael Hunt, born in 1997, was given a deferred imposition of sentence, fined $250 and ordered to pay $419.87 restitution for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, first offense.

Jacinta Elizabeth Chiefstsick, born in 1992, was fined $200 for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked and was fined $100 for careless driving.

Jeremiah Israel Dementric Davis, born in 1998, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 175 days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license, second offense, and was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 170 days suspended and two credited, for operating a vehicle without liability insurance, third or subsequent offense.

Nicki Ann Herrera, born in 1984, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $200 for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Judge Barger also dealt with 72 tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, and she or the prosecution dismissed 12 charges. Barger transferred 17 citations to another court, issued eight search warrants and held 13 probable cause hearings for cases out of her jurisdiction. Additionally, three suspended sentences or deferred impositions of sentencing were revoked and reinstated, one citation was deferred by the prosecution and two probation and parole violations went before the judge.
