Legal Tip - Havre Hill-County Library activity running through Sept. 14

Havre Daily News staff

The Havre-Hill County Library is giving people a chance to take part in a special hunt, starting today — a gnome hunt.

People can seek for the gnomes hidden throughout the community in the 2017 Gnome Hunt, take a selfie with the gnome and post it on the Havre-Hill County Library Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/havrehilllibrary, then mark it on a special bingo card made for the search.

Every bingo earned by finding gnomes acts as an entry in a raffle held during the Gnome Homecoming Party at the library at 3 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15. Finding all the gnomes earns 12 entries in the raffle.

The library says in a release that it has a few more gnomes roaming around town for this year’s hunt, with hints on its Facebook page and the bingo card giving the general locations of the adopted gnomes — except for four “roaming gnomes,” which act as wildcards for the blank spaces on the cards.

The bingo cards are available at the library and at the following “Adopt-A-Gnome” participants:

• Gary & Leo’s Fresh Foods

• Vic’s Place

• Holiday Village Mall

• Finest Boot Repair

• Independence Bank

• Bear Paw Technologies

• Bear Paw Credit Union

• The Yoga Shop

People need to turn in their bingo cards to the library by Thursday, Sept. 14, and the library says everyone should join its staff and the gnomes at the Gnome Homecoming Party Sept. 15.
