Clarification - Hays powwow

In Tuesday’s story about the 2017 Hays Community Pow-wow, Alicia Werk was described as the powwow committee’s secretary-treasurer, but Werk clarified after deadline that she is only listed as secretary-treasurer because she is acting as the contact for the person who holds that office.

“My daughter Alexandra Werk is the secretary and treasurer,” Alicia Werk said. “She is 8 years old, so her dad (Randall Werk Sr.) and I are her representatives.”
