After intense competition during the Great Northern Fair between the Hill County 4-H clubs, the winner of the Herdsmanship Award for the Large Club Herdsmanship Award is Mountain View 4-H Club, and the winner for the Small Club Herdshmanship Award is the Bear Paw Beavers 4-H Club. Mountain View won a Havre Area Chamber of Commerce gift certificate in the amount of $75 and Bear Paw Beavers won a Chamber gift certificate in the amount of $50.
The Herdsmanship Committee is going to hold a Crunch for A Cause fundraiser Thursday, Aug. 3, at Taco John's from 5 to 7 p.m. Anyone wanting to support the 4-H Herdsmanship Committee is asked to eat at Taco John's Aug. 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. and mention the 4-H Herdsmanship Committee when ordering, and Taco John's will donate 50 percent of the purchase price to the fundraiser.
