The Havre Jaycees are again selling fireworks in Havre, their fundraiser for the annual Fourth of July fireworks display members of the service organization set off each year in the arena at the Great Northern Fairgrounds.
Jaycee's President Sean Helms said people watch the show from many areas, including the arena itself.
"This whole place fills up," Havre Jaycee's President Sean Helms said while at the group's fireworks stand at the corner of Second Street West and 16th Avenue across from the Fairgrounds.
He said people often view the display from 2nd Street West, in the Fairgrounds and Holiday Village Mall parking lots or in some cases their own homes.
As in years past, Jaycee Jason Murri, who prepares the Independence Day display, will set off the fireworks in the fairgrounds arena.
The show is expected to start about 10 p.m., though sometimes organizers wait until 10:15 p.m. when it is darker.
Each year's fireworks display is paid for by the Jaycees with profits generated from the group's sale of fireworks the year before.
