Northwest FCS awards two scholarships to local students

SPOKANE, Wash. — Some local students were among the 84 whom Northwest Farm Credit Services awarded scholarships from its five-state territory. A total of $168,000 in scholarships was awarded. The local 2017 scholarship program winners, who will each receive a $2,000 college scholarship, are:

Gildford: Mackenzie Hansen is the daughter of Todd and Angie Hansen. Hansen is currently a sophomore at Carroll College where she is majoring in health science and anthrozoology.

Havre: Ryan Handley is the son of Roy and Kris Handley. He is currently a sophomore at Montana State University–Northern where he is studying agricultural operations.
