A car rests on the curb, lodged in the wall of Lucky Lil's Casino after the driver crashed through this afternoon about 3 p.m. The driver was taken to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.
A car crashed this afternoon through the west wall of Lucky Lil's Casino on First Street.
The driver of the car, a silver two-door Chevrolet Monte Carlo, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after about 3:30 p.m. and Havre Police Chief Gabe Matosich said no one else has been hurt.
The cause of the crash and whether the building has been compromised in any way is being investigated.
The driver was going eastbound on First Street when it appears to have run off the street and through the grassy field between 4B's and Lils Casino, across the adjacent entrance west of the casino, and into the wall.
The car came to a stop after ramming through the brick and glass wall. The steering wheel airbag deployed and the front end was heavily damaged. There appeared to be signs of bleeding on the airbag and driver's side door.
