Jake Sedahl/Nate Korb, Havre Tennis

An incredible season came to an end in thrilling fashion for Havre tennis doubles duo Nate Korb and Jake Sedahl. The seniors wrapped up their brilliant 2017 season with a Central A title two weeks ago in Bozeman, as well as a second-place finish at the State A tournament last weekend in Kalispell. Sedahl is now a two-time All-State performer, while the tandem capped an impressive record of 33-3 this spring. Sedahl also plays baseball, football and basketball this year. Korb, who plays hoops was All-Conference in football and is headed to Tech.

Logan Huebsch, Havre Track

Havre High junior Logan Huebsch had a strong ending to a strong season on the track. Huebsch placed sixth in both hurdle events at last weekend’s Class A state track meet in Laurel, and helped Havre score all three of its points in the team race. Huebsch ran a 17.21 in the 100 hurdles and a 48.97 in the 300 hurdles, while also running a leg on the Blue Pony relay team, which also finished sixth. Huebsch, a three-year letter winner for the Blue Ponies, is also a standout on the volleyball court at Havre High.
