Obituary - Lance Clark Peeler

Lance Clark Peeler was born to Clark and Grace Peeler July 12, 1948, in Havre, Montana. He lost his hard-fought battle with cancer May 10, 2017. 

He had three siblings, Theresa (Juel) Crawford, Richard Peeler and Michael (Dawn) Peeler. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother, Richard.

He married the love of his life, Marion Saylor, Jan. 23, 1971, in Great Falls, Montana. They had four children, Cindy (Brian) Hope, Scott Peeler, Amber (Chester) Brown and Angela (Devon) Younger. They had eight grandchildren, Aimee (Jason) Stark, Alex Moyer, Riley Kotschegarow, Lynze Kotschegarow, Mckinley (Chris) Peeler, Colton Peeler, Aiden Reed and Diesel Cameron. They had three great-grandchildren, Lyra, Caden and Oliver.

Lance went to school in Havre, Montana, where he delivered papers and worked for the postal department.

He moved to Great Falls. where he drove mail truck, was a salesman for Northwest Steel and a welder for Anderson Steel. He also worked for Melrose Steel in Fort Benton, Montana. 

In 1976 they moved to Jordan, Montana, where he worked for the county road department doing snow removal, and for Jordan Elementary School as custodian and boiler operator.

In 1993 they moved to Helena, Montana, where he built houses for Pierce and Associates.

In 1995 they moved to Boulder, Montana, where he worked for Boulder Elementary School and Jefferson High School as head of maintenance, construction and boilers.

In July of 2016, they moved to Vine Grove, Kentucky, so he could receive cancer treatment and be close to their daughter, Amber Brown.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, brother, nieces and nephews

He will be remembered for his unconditional love for his wife and family, his great sense of humor and easy laughter and smile. He touched the lives of everyone who met him and he will be greatly missed.

Memorial services were held at Fellowship Baptist Church Monday, May 15.
