The Blaine County Wildlife Museum will be having a grand opening Thursday with a chance to meet the people who designed and built The Foothills, a new addition for the Peaks to Plains exhibit, along with the other exhibits in the museum. The Blaine County Wildlife Museum in Chinook is holding a grand opening with a new exhibit Thursday and a chance to meet the artists from 7 to 9 p.m.
Elizabeth Marshall and Kurt Wohnell of Acorn Exhibits are finishing up The Foothills this week and will be at the grand opening Thursday night.
Marshall and Wohnell have made the exhibits at the museum, and this year have added some new signage and some other special informative displays.
The museum, located in the former Blaine Theater at 417 Indiana St., opened in 2009.
