Mill Levies pass in Hill County

Two mill levies that were on the ballot in Hill County were approved by voters in Thursday's special election,

As of 11:30 Thursday night, results from the Montana Secretary of State's website show both mill levies passed by wide margins.

The Hill County Public Cemetery District's request to levy up to 4 mills more a year passed 56 percentg to 44 percent.

A second request to allow The Hill County Weed Control District to also levy an additional 4 mills passed 58-42.
